Pastor slams anti-biker laws

A CHRISTIAN motorcycle group claims the new anti-biker laws will affect everyone from taxi drivers to wharfies.
Pastor Terry Walker of the Tribe of Judah at Kingston said the proposed laws would not stamp out outlaw violence, but were simply an attempt to squash people’s civil liberties.
The Tribe of Judah is one of 17 groups in the United Motorcycle Council of Queensland that are against the proposed legislation.
The council also includes the Hells Angels, who have a clubhouse in Browns Plains, and a chapter of the Vietnam Veterans club.
Mr Walker said the new laws would affect people even without a criminal record.
