Court has heard Gault received $1 million for his role in an operation against the Hells Angels - Court told biker snitch asked for help with hit

A would-be Hells Angels hit man was never given any pictures or addresses to help him locate and murder Frank (Cisco) Lenti of the rival Bandidos club, a Whitby murder conspiracy trial has been told.

Steven Gault, former secretary of the Hells Angels Oshawa chapter, told Superior Court yesterday he requested a photo of Lenti, addresses of his hangouts and five helpers when he was enlisted to carry out the murder on June 24, 2006.

Defence lawyer Glenn Orr asked Gault why he didn't ask again for those things when he met with Hells Angels Oshawa president Mark (Cephes) Stephenson on July 13, 2006, at Stephenson's home near Sunderland.

"I thought it was risky enough, coming back to his house," replied Gault, who was working for police as an agent against the Angels.

Angels Stephenson and Remond (Ray) Akleh are charged with murder conspiracy and counsel to commit murder for the alleged plot, which was never carried out.

Court has heard Gault received $1 million for his role in an operation against the Hells Angels.

Gault acknowledged he saw Akleh at a Hells Angels river cruise near Ottawa on July 15, 2006, and again no mention was made of supplying him with a photo or addresses or helpers to carry out the alleged murder plot.

Court also heard that a hidden police recording device which Gault carried didn't pick up any mention of Stephenson approving the murder of his fellow Hells Angel Akleh.

Gault earlier testified Stephenson mouthed "Kill him too" to him during their meeting.

The trial before Justice Bruce Glass continues.
