War on bikie gangs in Canada

With the rise of bikie gangs in Australia and most recent public war between Australian bikie gangs, here is a look at the rise of bikie gangs (in particular the Hell's Angels) and the response of the community and police.
The Hell's Angels took over the lucrative drug trade in both Vancouver as well as French-speaking Quebec region. Following a wave of bikie violence against rivals, innocent bystanders and journalists, the Canadian police has declared war on the bikie gangs with mixed results.
