Paul Moran ambles out of his Kunda Park mechanic shop, his hands slicked with grease and dirt.He is a big bloke, with a mohawk, piercings and tattoos, proudly wearing a leather vest with The Rebels emblazoned across the back.
“Good morning, it’s lovely to meet you,” Paul says, ushering me past a line of gleaming Harley-Davidsons to his office.
“It’s a bit of a mess back here. Sorry about that.”
For 11 years Paul has been a member of the Sunshine Hinterland chapter of the outlaw bikie gang. He ranks high on the Coast and is a lifetime member.
“I joined because I love motorcycles,” Paul said.
