Bikers wielded machete and meat cleaver in bout of 'mob violence' at airport

Rival biker gangs armed with a machete and a meat cleaver fought in an airport terminal and left travellers fearing for their safety, a court heard yesterday.

Up to 30 members of the Hell's Angels and rival Outlaws gang clashed in a 'free for all', some of which was captured on CCTV.

Timothy Raggatt, QC, prosecuting, said the 'mob violence' at Birmingham Airport unfolded after some of the gang members flew home on the same flight from Alicante, Spain.
